Bloods thrash Shooting stars

Shooting stars

Defending champions Young bloods continued with their winning ways when they thrashed B.P.L whipping boys Shooting stars 4-1, courtesy of goals from man of the match Jaffe, Willis, goalkeeper turned midfielder Philo and Brian.

Stars got their consolation goal from Nandi who later received his matching orders in the 90th minute.

Young Bladz
Young bloods were not in their A-game but what matters in football is the three points and they made sure of that, when School team midfielder Willis opened the floodgates in the 21st minute. He received an exquisite pass from man of the match Jaffe and slotted the ball to the back of the night. They added a second in the 31st minute when Philo took a shot and it kissed the back of the net. It looked like Bloods would be having a walkover  as they scored a third in the 45th minute, through Brian and this was just the first 45 minutes....3-0 to Young bloods.

Shooting Stars came out in the second half with a completely different defense, as they made wholesome changes at the back, but that that did not seem to matter to the energetic and live wire Jaffe who kept on running rings around them but was let down by poor finishing from his team mates. Stars got their consolation goal from Nandi before Jaffe put the final nail on Star's coffin in the 82nd minute. There was no real action after that except for Nandi receiving his matching orders in the 90th minute for handling the ball.
