Effects of Open House

We can say effects of open house or closed minds…………..this happened when Spurs went to the field against TTC who proved to be “weak”. The match was that boring you can say since the ball spent quality time in the air rather than on the ground with players. Spurs made various attempts to score but there were two things involved; its either the shot was “baby” or the pass went behind the goal post but not between the posts.

Unfortunately at one point the TTC goalkeeper was overwhelmed by energy and decided to run aimlessly towards Kanu who was not ready to be a causality of not scoring a goal dodged him. This made the goal to be left without a guard where Chweya made a simple placement that was intercepted by a player using his hands.
This led to him being awarded an early permanent leave via a red “visa” to play from the terraces. Skumbuzo was awrded a penalty but he kicked the ball wide right. It wasn’t long before castello managed to make Phillo scratch no hair on his head, it was one nill to castello and it was time to rescue the perishing spurs.
Towards the dying minutes of the second half, Moses a lukewarm striker made a surprise header into the net from a well-executed corner from Chweya. The match ended at a draw giving castello a reason to dance.

It was finally for the last game CFC against the home grown Rovers aka the noisy commandoes. The match was brought to a whole new level since it was played on air which made the name to change from football to headball. Three long gentlemen were clearly deployed at specific points on the field by rovers in order to contain the ball on air.
Guess that was the new “FIFA rule” that was to be used to their advantage to win CFC. Finally there was a price for them after they scored. Fortunately they Africans and they were hungry for more goals, they forgot CFC had a locomotive that was propelled on “bloody coal”. It was that heavy that it couldn’t run more than 500meters/hr but the consequences of it’s movements were devastating. It was not long enough that the locomotive was left alone at some point and by bad lack the ball came towards that direction.
The consequence was a helpless goalkeeper with the ball going in the net. The match had to end at a draw making it bad for rovers who needed 3 points.

WHATS LEFT TO SAY? GUESS NOTHING BUT WAIT FOR SPURS TO MEET THE KOSIRAI “TEA COMMANDOES” ON SUNDAY…………………………………..
