A Sunny Sunday

It was on a Sunday afternoon at the Baraton grounds where two teams met in a match. The two teams namely the home baked Rovers and the threatening Spurz began the match with no indications of giving a chance to the opponent team.

Chweya

The key players of Rovers; Sammy and Big Ben made good use of their height above the ground level by making use of aerial balls, fortunately Spurs had made a tactical or you may call it experienced game plan by allowing the Ghana loaned player Ude Charles to make his dream come true by playing as the central striker.

This fortunately made the Rovers central defender notice there was a black and white rainbow when he realized Ude was vertically exaggerated than he was. Since a market will never lack a ‘’mad man’’, Kanu made his crazy dribbling styles making some defenders to be professional dancers rather than football players.

At some point the Rovers central defense was broken down with a simple header from Ude but unfortunately landed on a malicious player Chweya Evans who released a LPB( leg propelled ball) at a speed of 40miles per hour. The Rovers goal keeper only had memories of a ball coming towards him but with a gift to Spurz.

The lethal striker couldn't make it to the end of the game and he was granted a mature RED card. The match ended at 1-0 in favor of Spurz.

Shall the trend continue with Evans out?????

Kosirai fc

Kosirai “the tea commandos” they say finally made it to their appointment with Kastelo “the cataracts emperor”.
It was a tough match I can say that began at 16:30hrs. kosirai proved strong and solid with players such as: Malick, Rono, Bramwel, Messi, etc…guess we don’t need a team sheet here but all in all, they had a solid defense with the twins taking control. It seemed they had come for a training session since the opponents could not manage to go past the midfield in the first half.

According to the Baraton NATGEO officials, there is a claim that something unusual happened during the match. “Due to the excessive weight caused by 21 players in Kastello half, this made the field to have an inclined tilt towards Kastelo goal. This caused a tragedy to their goalkeeper since he was not stable enough to get hold of the incoming shots making him a casualty of 9 good injuries. On the other hand, it was impossible for Sonko the Kastelo striker to go uphill with the ball”.

As the second half was almost coming to an end, Sonko had downloaded enough energy to go uphill with the ball at an approx. speed of 2miles per hour and gave his team a smile. The match ended at a score 9-1 with kosirai making the fat lady dance.
