CFC STUNNED SPANNERS

Eleven spanners were treated to footballing lesson on Sunday afternoon as they were beaten by the determined CFC stars.

The  fixture was hugely anticipated  as plenty of fans thronged the pitch to witness this master piece.
Fans who came out in their hundreds supported the CFC and they appeared to be in love with every second of the game. The game was played on Sunday evening at the university pitch in a historic match that saw CFC beat Spanners for the first time ever in their history.

The game  saw CFC win by 3 goals against 2, Yeza scored a penalty won by man of the match Arnold  in a fixture that  was closely contested at the end stages.

Spanners who  had  managed to  equalize through a penalty that was well taken by Suku were punished at the last minute  when they were caught on a counter attack by the speedy CFC striking force  which  out ran  the entire Spanners defence  to give  Arnorld  the golden  chance of scoring the match winner which sent the pitch a frenzy, with fans  running into the pitch in a celebration of its own kind.

Spanners continued their poor form this season as they lost their third game in a row and have had their tittle winning chances blown away, by dropping the three crucial points and at this rate they might not even qualify automatically  for the semi finals of the Baraton champions league.

Speaking  after the game, spanners captain Mr. Bakasa expressed his disappointment with the result and noted their  recent dip in form. He also revealed his teams plans of concentrating more on the upcoming games especially the champions league since this is their only chance of winning a silverware this season

The game ended at a sad note though when CFC keeper was injured and had to be rushed to Jeremic hospital after a  horrendous encounter with a fellow player.

we pray for quick a recovery to our editor and CFC Goalkeeper Mara Max
