The current champions of the Baraton Premier league returned to action on friday when they entertained CFC in a mouth watering clash that saw a total of nine goals scored at the university pitch.
The free scoring Bladz dominated the game netting 8 times in a day that saw their fans walk all over with their heads high, Jubilations could be felt all over the pitch as the supporters hipped praises on their star players.
One of the players who inspired the mauling of CFC was Jafe, the on form skipper was a real threat to the lazy CFC defense and managed to expose their weakness creating plenty of chances and managed to net twice, other stars of the day included Manasseh who made his debut in style by scoring a hatrick and Kiplimo who was outstanding getting one on his name.
The on form skipper spoke to us after the game and was so please with the win and expressed his joy in the unity that his team possessed. Bladz now seat fifth on the log with ten points from six games as they look forward to play Spanners who have enjoyed a sweet start to the season.
Young Bladz being the most popular club on campus made sure its
supporters had all the bragging rights as they headed into the calm hours
of the sabbath. Bladz now face Eleven Spanners on Sunday in a clash that
could as well determine the fate of their season.
CFC who managed only a single goal from Eden now seat sixth on the log with four points only three better than the relegation bound Shooting Stars.
